The student body is getting smaller while the administrative leaches keep getting larger.
And DO NOT get me started on the bond money they basically lied to get.
Take it your not a Swimmer???
What is the pay and benifits cost for this new position? I bet it is in excess of $200,000. That could buy alot of school supplies or useful personell.
Was there mention of a new football stadium in the Summerville bond and mention of a new pool for Sonora in their bond? I can't remember reading or hearing anything about them. Also I didn't realize we would need a "Director of Special Projects and Programs." Unless they did mention these projects, I feel somewhat misled by the districts.
That's why all the schools in the county need to considate into one district. Too many fat salaries for such small districts. A total waste of tax payers dollars, and the kids will still get the same education regardless of how many supes, admins, directors, etc, there are.
I'd bet real money the shakeup isn't over.
I hear that there has been another administrator hired to fill the the void - where is this money coming from?? What other school districts that have bonds hire another administrator to oversee this work, always been the superintendent's job. Your taxpayers dollar at work?
