Great job Obama, get millions of healthcare policies cancelled in order to get a million or so covered.
Liberal programs exposed...
For anyone who believes this crummy reason ( prevent customers from feeling rushed to make payments ) I would like to offer for sale some ocean front property in Montana cheap.
I got my free (work paid for it all) insurance canceled. Now I have to go on this covered cal. stuff. I can not afford the cost of coveredca. So now I am quitting my job and only working under the table. If the goverment wants to play games then lets play, I got nothing to lose anymore.
Millions of policies haven't been cancelled due to the ACA; the tired, old rhetoric from torch-flaring Obama haters who want more failure attributed to him than allowing this country to thrive. The only train-wreck heading our way is whatever ignorance drives.
Paying for millions of uninsured citizens to only see Dr. Emergency Room is the only alternative to decaying in the streets. If mandated car insurance doesn't bother you- why does affordable healthcare? If you think healthcare should only be for those who can afford it, then you shouldn't mind a few germs sprinkled around you when you share the air with those without.
The ACA is a massive undertaking that will iron-out & unfold as one of Obama's greatest legacies; reason why demagogues & their ilk cannot bear to see its success.
I told you so
The more successful the ACA becomes, expect the whiners to cry even louder.
Staying healthy is far cheaper than curing diseases, the ACA provides for preventative care. We are already paying for each other's healthcare we're just paying much more for it and the costs are hidden in premiums and taxes. The ACA makes the system more equitable.
The "train wreck" was a bad roll out of a faulty website. That's cleared up, the track has been restored, and it's full steam ahead! Obamacare is the law of the land.
Just imagine how this would turn around if politicians- who sleep well, eat well & live well- had to legislate according to job performance affecting their lives? Like, if they vote against affordable healthcare for all, they lose our jobs paying for theirs? Why don't those on the Hill pay their own? Why aren't those instilling the fear of government intrusion, okie-dokie w/government paying for their insurance, vacations, meals, etc.?
At 174,000.00 per year- NOT EVEN 365 days total- all we get is a lot of "he said, she said" malarky funded by A LOT of money that would be WAY better spent on, oh... I don't know- the People? But because the People too easily distracted by shiny objects of hypocrisy from FAUX "facts" on FAUX NEWS, we remain citizen v citizen, instead of TRUTH v PROPAGANDA.
If you ran a business like obama care you would be out of business !
When you have have a law forcing people to par take in your ponzy
scheme you are a common thief .
Don't expect the complainers to tell you about the good news. The costs for health care are increasing at the lowest rate in five decades.
When someone tries to tell you the decrease is because of the economy, remind them the the depth of Bush's second recession was in 2008 we're now in 2014.
There's been a lot of good, uplifting stories from people whose lives have been turned around, for the better, because of ACA. If those stories were told on FAUX NEWS or most any other corporate media channel, we'd have a lot less naysayers & a lot more signing up. But as long as the money is controlled by the propagandists who have more to gain when the People have more to lose- we must fight that much harder for the truth.
Bush's legacy of robbing the poor to give to the rich will be felt for generations to come; the disparity gap between has grown exponentially & reason why the rich keep getting richer post-Bush. But Obama inherited a country ravaged by Bush's policies like a frat party the day after & why America's health is weak. Kinda ironic to have the ACA at the forefront.
And just to be clear rrhs- you do live in the U.S.A, yes? I'm just not getting why you refer to enforced laws as "Ponzy Schemes."
Last I checked, I cannot drive my car without it being insured; nor can I decide to not pay my property taxes each year, unless I want to share a cell with Lauren Hill. And while it's fun to shop for bargains at the Grocery Outlet, I still have to pay for the goods I put in my cart. Red light means stop & green light means go, but should I decide to ignore them? I'm pretty sure the officer writing a ticket won't rip it up because I tell him it's a "Ponzy Scheme."
So I guess I must be a thief.
