Keep up the good work! Guys like this need to be off our streets and away from our kids.
Good job spd Now that was a worth while arrest . Get the dealers .
Is it me or most of these people repeat offenders?
the neck tattoo gives them away every time!......priceless!
"A record of his sales and transactions"? Way to go, dude! I suppose you were keeping this so you could pay your quarterly sales tax??
Wow! This guy sounds like a real winner.
revenue and recovery = a lot of money. 5 dollar tube of makeup to cover up that tattoo = priceless
It troubles me whenever heroin dealers make an appearance in our community. Prosecutors need to adopt a "no tolerance" policy - no plea deals - lock 'em up for the maximum term provided by law.
Good job SPD. Heroin should be law enforcement's TOP PRIORITY !
Now I'm waiting for Squirter to complain about stopping people with neck tattoos.
The cops put him in, the court lets him out. He will be back in business by sundown.
Neck tats are like big flashing neon sign that says, "Felon"
So where's the methadone from? Isn't that a legal prescription drug? If it's for him, what doctor wrote the prescription and shouldn't his illegal drug use come up in a drug scan? If it was written for him by a doctor who didn't do a drug scan, was the precription paid for by the taxpayers?
Now if they can just find a Judge that will lock them up and throw away the key forever. Drug Dealers are Vermin, attacks and destroys families. He does not deserve to again see the light of day.
Arresting another Unlicensed Pharmacist? How's a guy supposed to make a living if he can't serve the needs of the recently released AB109 parolees?
In the past 40 years, America's War On Drugs has yielded three things:
1. One trillion dollars spent
2. 45 million incarcerated
3. Street drugs available today that are purer, more potent, and more widely available than ever before.
It's time for America to re-think prohibition. Actually, it was time 40 years ago - but we didn't. Let's change that.
I hate seeing heroin on our streets. In big cities it is accepted as being a part of city drug life. How does heroin fit in Sonora? Which of your friends are waiting for your next fix or looking for something to steal then selling it to who? Who buys all the stolen jewelry? stolen laptops, ipads?
They steal things from stores and people then sell the goods on the street. Like AA and AAA batteries and tools and all kinds of new goods. When somebody approaches you in a parking lot with an offer to sell something, think about what you are doing and contributing to.
Good Job Sonora Police Dept.Thank You
Hominem you are correct. Heroin from opium poppies supports the Afghanistan farmers the Taliban and AlQueda that are killing our sons and daughters. Mexico cartels supply the heroin here too
@Hominem is right prohibition of alcohol made the booze business ran by criminals, regulated by no one and the potency went up over 100 proof and the price skyrocketed. Weed prohibition did and is doing the same with more potent weeds. I am pretty sure if they outlaw guns than criminals will be making guns in there basement with no regulations and will probably make guns that are more powerful than anything on the market now. Maybe if we made weed, heroine and everything else legal the price would come down and be about even with the prices of veggies, so the users wouldn't have to steal there granny's pension to buy a little piece. It just might reduce the crime rate. And if the crime associated with the drugs is everyone's biggest complaint it just might help our world.
the price per pound of heroine is any where between $52,000 ($650 per finger) - $62,000 ($50 per 1/2 g) depending on the increments it's being sold in. All profits go to the drug cartel. Our military is all ready guarding poppy fields in Afghanistan so they can produce record amount of heroine per year after a record low year in 2001. yes same year as 9/11.
I asked someone. Why the big resurgence of Heroin use and why is it popping up in small communities ??? The answer I was told is that heroin is cheaper and easier to get than oxycontin. They call oxycontin hillbilly heroin so I guess it all makes sense. I don't think drug use is falling so we have to figure out better ways to stop it. The war on drugs was a dismal failure :(
