Hopefully this batch of "traffic cops" will actually enforce the law not just manipulate it to there benefit. I love how the SPD parks in peoples private one way driveways and radars right by the high school even though the people living there have asked several times not to block there home o but I guess they are above the law. Perfect example of why people need to know the law no one else is going to stand up for your rights so take the time to learn them. Its perfectly legal to tell a cop NO or to document police procedure done incorrectly and let me tell ya most of em don't even know half the laws in there giant book of rules so how good of a job can they really do when training and experience is so minimal. Strut away not impressed SPD is a joke when compared to HP and SD aka REAL cops
Well done ! ! Nice to take home the prize. Keep up the great work !
You do not wanna mess with that crew....no sir.
Wow, Viper....Did you actually call the PD about the problem. Talk to Glenn Roberts, he is the guy on the far right in the picture. I am positive he will fix your problem. Good luck, I know how irritating this can be. Our police are young and maybe a little restless but Glenn tells them what to do. He' up there by over 30 years.
Four20- this is not Sonora PD, these young men and women are involved in a program through Boy Scouts of America to learn about law enforcement in general. Sonora PD is gracious enough to host the program for them. They do not park in people's driveways, they do not target speeders by the high school, and they have never infringed on your, or anyone else's rights. They do get introduced to training in law enforcement, and they are learning about what is involved of they choose that career. They also do TONS of community service, from placing the flags along Washington street on holidays to helping raise food for ATCAA.
A 'good job' or 'congratulations' would have been a more appropriate response to their hard work.
