That's another strecth of road that needs some attention. Many Fatal and serious injury accidents happen between San Andreas and Angles Camp. Hope all involved have a good outcome.

Nowhere to go when someone comes across the line.... A lot of that section is lined with a hillside on each side of the road....

Heard on Facebook it was at Cosgrave Road. There have been quite a few memorial markers placed in that area since the 70's.

What would you do to take care of that stretch of road? If it was a head-on collision someone obviously did not stay in their own lane and it was no fault of that stretch of the road. Maybe we should build a freeway with barriers between the two directions of traffic? (Sarcasm). But I, too, hope everyone is okay.

This is the same area where there was 2 rollover accidents back in October, October 5th, to be exact, both due to loose gravel on the roadway. I know, my wife was one of them. CHP said they rarely have accidents along that stretch, but the tow company that towed our vehicle said they've been out in that area quite a bit in the last year...strangely enough, a few days later, CalTrans had taken a street sweeper out there and cleaned up the gravel...guess they wanted to make sure that insurance companies couldn't get out there and see the gravel after the accidents caused by it...
