Ya, maybe if you want your kids working changing bedsheets in the upscale resort hotel proposed to be constructed at Sawmill Lake. Other than that, the only commercial opportunities offered by this development are in the "Copper Town Square" next door, and consist of upscale boutiques. Try buying shoes for your kids there, or ladies underwear, or groceries.
You have hit the nail on the head with regard to 'no jobs' and 'no place to shop'. The type of growth this county needs is not more upscale bedroom community and retirement community homes. The Copperopolis area already has over 7,000 of those types of lots sitting empty, waiting for those homes to be constructed. This county needs to encourge more light industrial and commercial development.
