The Union Democrat dubbed it "Snowmageddon"

"Snowmageddon" GEEZ! You'd think this was the end of the world!! We got a good snow storm that caught many off guard. Some didn't have chains and should have parked and walked. Instead they continued on, becoming stranded obstacles in the road. Others with 4WD were equiped with tires that could not keep up with the conditions. (And we make fun of flat-landers) Consequently the roads were jammed, buses were late and the safety services were taxed beyond capacity. But this only lasted a few hours. We all woke up to a great sunrise and blue skies. Roads were clear and almost void of traffic until noon.

Major for Sonora, anyway. But after living in Montreal for six years, it all seemed rather minor. Pretty while it lasted, however.

The paper can dub it whatever they want--it was a snow storm, that's it.
Certainly not like the back to back storms we had a few years back.

If Tugg could talk, he or she would say "What am I doing out here in the snow & cold when I could be in a warm house with a bowl of Kibbles 'n Bits"
