Drug dealers/addicts commit property crimes to support their "business" and addiction. The community as a whole is victim to people like these who need help with their disease rather than jail which doesn't force inmates to attend 12 step programs or counseling which may help. Just locking them up for a short period of time because of jail overcrowding doesn't work. As soon as they are released, they are back doing the same thing. We must find solutions to the rampant drug problem in this county.

Go to downtown Sonora and look around at the people now living on our streets.

When I walk and drive around I see a constant degrading effect happening to our town and area.

There are plenty of people that appear to be alcoholics and drug users and criminals lounging on benches and standing in courthouse park.

There are lots of people with dirty clothes and dirty dogs in tow.

I do not like what has been allowed to happen here, the criminals are not afraid anymore because they know there is no jail consequences.

The gangs from the Valley Methdesto are slowly infiltrating and are finding our territory perfect for meth and heroin sales.

We need effective leadership from Tuolumne County Supervisors to direct the Sheriff's to clean up the town.

15 of them on a chain cleaning up the roads would help. enough for the free handouts, they chose to put drugs into their bodies, no one force them.
