Park Spokesperson Scott Gediman says, "Visitors should know there is no road closures planned.
We plan on being able to do the work when the road is open
Of course you do...
and do the work with flaggers.
Are these Govt paid? Union flaggers?
Aside from some short delays, the public won't notice anything different about traveling Tioga Road."
What's a delay or two..in the name of Progress.
Let me get this straight; if an environmentalist finds something they don't about one of our major highways, we are not allowed to maintain it?! That sounds like a slippery slope to declaring State and National parks off limits to anyone who can't hike into them.
