Frogs And Cowboy Boots?

The Frog Jump is a great community event, but it should focus more on the locally-native, now endangered, Red-legged Frog, which was the subject of Twain's story. We've lost our sense of tradition and heritage going with the non-native and environmentally harmful Bull Frog. Part of the festival should be mass hunting and eating of the Bull Frogs, and habitat restoration for the Red-legged Frog.
