At what point will you liberals understand that only law abiding citizens follow the law ! Feinstein is only going to punish the legal gun owner not the criminal that can care less about any of our laws, thats what makes them CRIMINAL ! GET IT ?

Well I am glad her security has weapons to protect her. Just remember that the weapons used as of recent where not Assault weapons. That person used handguns. Maybe she should just put a ban together on all Guns. That way the Government can take care of everything for us. People wake up !

I once saw her on TV late at night about 10-15 years ago. She said her dream was an 85% tax and the government would take care of the people. That's why she wants to take guns from the, as she calls them , little people.

I am all for instant background checks, waiting periods, increase screening for those with mental health issues, but stop taking rights away of law abiding citizens for the acts of a few crazy people. This is not a perfect world and you can not stop the horrible acts of a few.

Right now the left is acting on emotion alone and throwing logic out the window (I am NOT republican). Gun owners and owners of so called "assault weapons" are not the gun freaks the left makes us out to be. I served in the US Marines, am a local business owner and have never been arrested.

An "assault rifle" is based on looks and not function. It's pure ignorance and part of Diane's agenda. She has openly said ALL firearms should be taken. Don't be ignorant in thinking history doesn't repeat itself.

Feinstein you are a true moron! True assault weapons are already banned, your version of an assault weapon is just based on cosmetics, not function. How does a collapsible stock or a barrel shroud make a gun more dangerous? Why is a black gun more dangerous than a wood colored gun? You have failed in ignoring the true issues behind mass killings. Find a way to deal with crazy people, and stop punishing law abiding citizens.

Why do they continue to blame the object and not the person that misuses it? "Pencils do not cause bad spelling." With that kind of logic we should ban cell phones so people would not drive and talk or text at the same time.

You know what I think? I wish we could have a set of basic ideals of freedom that would apply to all citizens, which the government could not change or diminish, without a vote of those same citizens. We could start small, say maybe 10 or so, and go from there. Then hold the government accountable for upholding those ideals, under penalty of treason. I think this would go a long way towards avoiding the totalitarian states that we've seen through history. I wish we had such a document.

I see "gun free zones" have worked very well. The term "assault weapon" is the most inaccurate word to use. The AR-15 that most people can buy on the market varies from the military versions quite a bit. I haven't the space on this site to post the differences of the Military weapons vs the civilian market. Anyone that thinks stripping guns out of society is making a grave mistake. All I know is whit the liberal state we live in today. I will for NO reason draw my weapon to protect ANYONE but me or my family. Just for the simple fact that I do not want to get in a sort of trouble for the guns I own. Since we live in such a fearful society fueled by media propaganda and nonsense. people rather fear, than learn and make informed choices.

I find it offensive that a Senator either cannot understand the U.S. Constitution or is intentionally attempting to circumvent it.

Seems odd to me that the same person calling for these changes (Feinstein) runs around with armed guards carrying fully automatic weapons. Seems legit.

Let's spend our time worrying about real problems and not limiting the rights of our law abiding citizens.

Yes Feinstein, those scary looking black rifles that shoot .22 caliber squirrel rounds are far more dangerous than hunting rifles. Its the ability to mount a flashlight that makes them really scary though...
