What a joke. Tuolumne County deserves a District Attorney that will prosecute these extremely dangerous individuals to the full extent of the law. It's these types of that return to our community even more violent.

What a joke this judicial system is .. Burn down BUSINESS and get 1 year in prision plus 3 squars a cot and medical for a year all for being stupid ...Maby smart no wories for a year LOL..

You got to be kidding me two years for burning down a building with prior felony convictions. Our DA should be impeached.

Nice pat on the wrist.

So he gets out in a year? I have seen the building since he torched it, and it is a total loss. Who pays to rebuild this? Him? No fine, no nothing? 12 months in jail for that mess he made? Seems like he is getting off pretty light.

I challenge the District Attorney to come on here and defend this sentence, I think the public has a right to know??? If the Union Democrat had any decent reporters, you think some very hard question would be ask about the sentence. Only in Tuolumne County could a arsonist get away with one year. Was there a pay off to the DA or Judge?

Sounds like he will be free before the damage is repaired.
Our town is burned and he is going to be released? Firefighters are put in harms way and he is released in two years?
Businesses closed and Park visitors come from all over to see the burned mess.
It seems like a light sentence that does not fit the crime.
I wonder what he will do next time.

Back when Columbia was a true town instead of an amusement park, the guilty would have a rope burn around their neck.

It must be much easier to make bargains with criminals than to actually convict them of all charges. Nice work, DA. Take the day off and go play golf with the public defenders and the bail bondsmen. Maybe someone will shoot him next time and you won't have to do anything at all.

What many don't know is that DeAngelo Hall was setup for a wedding reception the next day. He should be doing a thousand community service hours including the rebuilding of the restaurant and hall.

Credit for time served..good behavior allowance, a couple other adjustments and this sentence really means NO JAIL time and the arsonist AVOIDED ANY DRUG CHARGES...pretty sweet deal....pretty useless D.A. What a joke.

WE have all seen the DA do this over and over. It's not a joke, but a travesty.
