Huh, that's funny because I have not had pay raises over the last ten years that have kept up with inflation.....Go Figure!!!!

Yes typo corrected, it is $6 for a yard.

I think the best part of this is. They charge to take it and go make more money with our waste. Let's hear it for making money twice on the same pile of rubbish. Here is a question. Why is it Calaveras county doesn't charge for this same service ?

Do we get a rebate when Waste Management, grinds up the waste and sells it for composite or fertilizer? Pretty soon we are going to see waste dumped in the canyon's again.

A nibble here, a nibble there.
The working class cannot sustain themselves much longer.

I just love how everything except pay scale must "keep up with inflation".

The money wasted on this Justice would have more than made up for any fees. I love the fact in the past one of our board of supervisor worked for waste management, He may not have voted for any issues, but being on the board certainly had an impact on how others voted. Next question is what do I exactly get for my property tax, I tell you more taxes. More wasted money for school bonds, instead of consolidation, the list just keeps on rolling along.

This is called capitalism. It is what our country was founded on. I thought most of the experts on this page were conservative restuplicans who back private business and industry. Wake up folks before the rich restuplicans Barry us deeper in dept. They could careless about the working poor and middle class.

Things will end up in canyons again, but hopefully they throw it in canyons below Twain Harte. Every area below Twain Harte is a dump anyway. A DUMP!

Death by a thousand taxes and laws

Calaveras pays a waste fee in our taxes and we pay $5 yd to dump yard waste. last I looked it was $150 a year taxes and yardage fee when we dump. Maybe it's going to go up for us Yet again.

Aren't monopolies great!! (sarc.) Where's the free market? Why bother having anti-trust laws? So much for the free market I guess.
