"Ignorance of the law is no excuse" what a crock. I went to the website and looked at the PDF file. There's 56 pages just listing the bill ID, author, and the "subject". To find out what the new law is about, you have to click on the individual ID. This is ridiculous. Leave it to the government to make finding information confusing and difficult, and then punish the citizens for not knowing the laws.

I don't put the whole blame on the current governor. This happens every year.

They can not enforce laws they have now......like not talking on cell phones. This is just another way to further remove freedoms and say,"Well they broke this law so we can................"

If there is anything Democrats like to do it's tell other people what to do.

THANK YOU Md73!! I read the list of new laws, but finding out the particulars of each law and what they really mean is a very difficult feat in and of itself!! Perhaps the government doesn't want the public to really know the laws so they can trip them up with "ignorance of the law is no excuse". Exasperating at the very least!! I want a list of each new law (all 900) with a couple of "layman" paragraphs explaining the new law. If they want to pass them, they should be required to list them with explanations. Is that too much to ask?

It would be nice to see a certain Calaveras County Supervisor use turnouts on Hwy 4, and the Calaveras County Sheriffs and CHP use turn signals more often. We have enough laws that are not enforced.
