Thanks to myMotherLode.com for the details on this tragedy. Almost 25 years ago, I walked away from a head-on crash on that 3 lane highway of 108/120 above Knights Ferry because I was wearing a seat belt and only got a small bruise from that accident which otherwise totaled both cars.

So very sad to lose someone so young. My prayers are with her family. It must have been icy roads - I was driving in that area at that time and saw the emergency crew on the scene and the roads were pretty icy. I am sure that contributed to the accident.
