This whole fiscal cliff thing has been a setup by Obama and the Dems. The Republicans were stupid enough to go for it so everyone in Washington is to blame. None of them give a * about the American people. The fact is we the American people have all made the adjustments in our personal finances to cope with the economy and the spending problem in Washington, they have ignored the issue and have continued to make it worse. It's time for the states to gain more control. The huge federal government does not know the needs of the individual states and there people. The closer we are to the power the better, because we are the power. The people of California is in big trouble because of Gov. Brown and his taxes plus Obama and his tax increases. Time to throw them out!!!

That flushing noise you hear is our money being given to The New American Aristocracy (The current Regime Master & CONgress) to spend on their pet projects and themselves.

Tax,tax,tax the people. My water bill went up $7, I have to pay a fire tax of $150, gasoline is sky high, my PGE bill went up 2%, my truck registration doubled, and now they are taking $60 more out of my paycheck for social security that I will never use. Thats on top of federal and state taxes, gasoline tax, medicare tax, etc. When are the people going to wake up? Rich elected officials run this country into the ground while the people try to bail it out, but they never will because we are to divided against each other. Republicans against democrats, gay vs straight, white vs black. Until we unite, we will lose.

I can't wait until we are bankrupt and broke. Only then will we have enough nerve to fix this broken country.

America was founded by tough hell-rugged citizens who evaded taxes, spoke strongly against tyranny, grew tobacco, brewed beer and spirits and smuggled weapons. It can only be saved by a similar group of people.

I firmly believe the socialist agenda of the Democrats will soon lead to the bloodiest civil war in the worlds history. Just the other day one of their beloved writers called for the arrest of Republican leaders and to remove guns by killing conservatives.
The so-called "news" media love to blame conservatives for the declining civility of our democratic discourse, but the hateful venom spewed by supposedly enlightened liberals is as vicious as it gets.

Nice, where do you think this is going ? More importantly to the liberal sheeple really think they will win the next civil war ?

Rev & Airborne you both said a mouthful! Until this state and the US goes bankrupt and we unite as normal thinking citizens nothing is going to change. When 50%+ citizens and polititions think paying one credit card with another is OK were doomed!

Leaperman - jingoism is a form of extreme anti-foreigner policy. Not sure what it has to do with the fiscal cliff.
