I agree with Tom McClintock. I think Obama is only interested in money, as much as he can milk from any of the 53% that pay taxes. Democrats don't care about the debt they leave future generations, they have made that clear. We will be on a level playing field with Kenya.

If you look at the unemployment numbers since W Bush put those tax cuts into effect you might come to realize the cuts did not create any jobs. Under Clinton unemployment dropped and technically there was a surplus (hardly any politicians oppose excluding certain spending)
Denying that the economy pretty much tanked when Bush was in office and everything is Obama’s fault, is rhetoric designed to keep as many people as possible in the dark. Blame for overpaid politicians, should go to those who vote it in, the “representatives” (they seem to represent themselves).

The Senate Democrats did nothing on the debt for a year; made a 'deal' with 0Bama, and then held the GOP ransom.
The reason this happened was that a year ago Congress recognized that something needed to be done about the debt crisis. Then the Dems disparaged every proposal made by the GOP House. For the last year the Senate Dems countered proposals with ridicule. The same Senate Dems that have not passed a budget in 3 years.
The result?
No spending cuts.
A projected $4 trillion INCREASE in the deficit.
The Bush tax cuts, which have been in place for 11 years, will continue because they are 'good' for America; unless you are an employer.
Unemployment benefits will be extended, as a thank you to all the 0Bama voters.
America is in deep trouble.

You are right Obama is interested in money, he is trying to get the wealthy to pay a Fair share like the rest of us. I do not make 250k a year but I pay a lot more taxes than the wealthy people that do.

The Bush tax cuts were not necessary. They did nothing to create jobs; just the opposite. The tax cuts coupled with two unfunded, unnecessary wars caused the obscene deficit we have now. Bush's policies ruined our economy and brought us to the brink of a second depression. It will take at least 8 years to retore our economy to where it was before Bush took office. Bush/Cheney rewarded their military contractors with lucrative contracts, putting us further into debt. History will show that the Bush/Cheney administration was the most corrupt and fiscally irresponsible administration in history. Both of them should be imprisioned for treason for what they did to our country's economy. Obama has a lot of work to do to fix this mess; that is if the GOP obstructionists in Congress work with him.

The democratic party works very hard to keep their parasite voting base beholden to them. They do this by welfare, illegal immigrant handouts and programs, free medical care, and no taxes. The dem party doesn't want to see the "poor and needy" become educated and successful for fear of losing them as voters. It's that simple.
