Waste Management does this every year. Why can't they pick up your trash?...Where I live, our "waste management" comes to our house on a snowmobile in zero below temps...I always feel sorry for these guys but they are always there on pick up days.. they are just doing their job. If "Waste" really wanted to pick up your trash, they would.
this is why I take my garbage to the transfer station (dump). I live close to it, it's cheaper for me to dump a pick-up loads worth once a month...
plus, by dealing with the trash myself, I dont turn into a chump who has nothing better to do than trash-talk (har har) Waste management on mymotherlode.com
Funny how they can double the price and make the service worse. WM is just another greedy monopoly that has no competition so improving services in not important.
You guys with your cry baby remarks... Didn't your mother teach you that if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all...
I don't buy the "bad road conditions" excuse. 10 years ago, trash was picked up no matter the conditions, and the mail was delivered in chained up Volkswagon Beetles.
If they wanted the day off, they should just say so. No big deal.
What ever happens to all the recycled stuff we put in the bin? I think WM is making a bundle exporting it to China. Somebody should look at their books. Also, with prison labor doing alot of their work, they should be paying us for all of our recycled materials.
what I want to know is what happened to all the previous comments My Motherlode?, A weeks worth, mine among them, disappeared.
Anyway...Right UHB, say nothing at all, and let private industry, the industrial giants like WM and others rule the universe, your the first to gripe when your rights and freedoms are eroded away.
and, Ryan WM needs to be trashed, they are making millions of this and 100s of other counties in the country and always reaching for more and giving less, do your homework.
In conclusion, everyone do your own recycling, WM is the Joker and capitalizing on our, and our county representatives, failures to demand proper service and performance.
