Someday there could be a census tax where we are taxed for simply "being".....

Thats not the half of it. Wait until tall the different municipalities figure out the scam where they have their own "special tax" like they have in the Bay Area. In the area my small business covers we do business in 18 different "special tax districts". Most of these are cities and once you report and pay their special tax to the State, they send you a demand letter stating that in order to do business there you must get a licence for their city! Average cost $700-900 each. It never ends...

Love it how Cali punishes people trying to get ahead. Libs don't like that gap between wealthy and poor getting bigger, so they have to make sure the successful are taken down a peg. Why can't we place special taxes on people doing harm to the culture, such as Hollywood?

Ah the ever business-friendly state of CA strikes again.

I need to buy a license to have a license...to pay the fee for the license.
