I hope the person responsible rots in hell... These kind of stories anger me a lot. There is no reason why scum bags should be allowed to procreate.

Devastating news. The only thing I can say is at least she is in a better place and out of the hands of who did this to her.

I wonder if the child has any other family or if anyone will step up to pay to bury her. Does anyone care? I do-Maybe if the child has no one-it would be nice if the community would come together to do right by her.

This is very sad. After I post this the scumbag will be out of my thoughts. How about the rest of us honor the memory of the child by just being kind to one another, especially during this season. Perhaps a random act of kindness towards a child in need. It would help on so many ways.

There should be NO bail set. NONE.

This is as sad as it gets. Seems like Child Protection Services should of had a better handle on this. I take comfort in knowing God holds this child innocent.

I know that this sweet, innocent baby is now in the arms of God and will know in heavan the love she never received here on Earth. I'm crying as I write this. Why didn't her father (biological only) take her to a hospital, police station, fire station, or church if he didn't want her? she cried for food, clean diapers, warmth and love. I know he will be dealt with when he dies but our legal system must do something to ensure the person will never be allowed to procreate another child, or be around children while they are still alive.

RIP baby Jane, since we don't know you real name. It's too bad Ca. doesn't use old sparky anymore. May God take care of your pure soul.

Don't blame child protective services, they aren't at fault here. Unfortunately there are many children suffering the same types of abuse. The holidays are very stressful for many families. If you know of parents struggling right now, lend a hand. Check in, offer help. People knew this man, perhaps they could have intervened. Take a minute to look twice, you might be able to offer help. Child welfare is collecting Christmas gifts for foster children, consider donating one in her honor.

The little angels name is Kalie Faith Boehmer Born Sept 4,2012 passed Dec 11, 2012. Life cut so short.The father was offered help anytime day or night.Only seen her once after moving to Jamestown Nov 4. She was the most precious little girl and her smile would light up your heart she liked to be talked to and would smile that little side ways smile at you. Breaks my heart everytime I think of her. I haven't stopped crying since we got the news. She didn't even get to have her 1st xmas. I hope the person responsible rots in prison for taking her life. We in away should be like a lot of counties do to them the same as the crime they commit. Break every bone in their body. So they can feel the pain that our little angel felt. God hold her in your arms and keep her safe and smother her with your love. LOVE YOU ANGEL
