For the thieves in our community that attended the school of hard knocks forgot to learn that some person may be watching you and are not afraid to snitch you off to the cops.

I work out of my home and I don't miss a thing going on on my street. I would call the cops or handle a situation myself unless it's at the home of the two neighbors who had Obama signs in their yard. Since liberals steal from me it only seems right to let people steel from them.

Crockett-Stop making me laugh, there's nothing funny about getting mugged by liberals! I would say the same thing, but I would help any of my neighbors, even the Obombites. Some liberals are quite nice people who help others even with their own money sometimes. If I see the fire station getting ripped off, I'll consider that a fire fee rebate.

Good work here! @Crockett, thanks for the laugh! Most liberals don't believe in protecting themselves. They call it "paranoia". So, no need to protect them. I refuse to be an easy target. I enjoy hearing about home invasions or robberies where the criminal is carried out in a body bag. Criminals don't like confrontation, especially when there's a possibility of not getting out alive. Peace and love speeches while you're being robbed usually wind up with a dead body and it's not the criminals. Oh, and once you've dialed 911 and the police are on the way...and 10 min later, they're still on the way...leave a note to your living relatives to please start paying taxes so more police/sheriff/highway patrol can be hired. Please. We 53% can't carry your load forever.

Can we lay off on the liberal bashing for just a minute? We are your family, friends, co-workers and (as you said), neighbors. It's not all our fault, I promise.
I see this 53% meme everywhere, but do you realize that the Bush tax cuts are the reason that so much or the country fell out of income tax eligibility in the first place? And even if you don't pay federal income tax, you still pay property tax, sales tax, social security tax, state tax, local taxes, etc.
I hope my neighbors will keep an eye out for me, even if we don't share the exact same stance on political issues.

@Crockett and @steady, EXACTLY!!!! Everyone should protect themselves, if someone doesn't believe in protecting themselves, then I suppose those people can let someone else determine their destiny. All scumbags are going to go for the easy targets they better choose wisely because it could be a deadly mistake. Also, when I see people with the 'we're the 99%', I always think I need a bumper sticker that says 'I'm the 53%'.

Instead of blaming govt for all our woes, it seems we only need to look at the comments posted here to see that we as a people are incapable of compromise or the willingness to at least listen to the opinons of others.

A very cogent observation..
In politics the liberal definition of compromise has absolutely nothing to do with the real definition of compromise. See Republicans have been "compromising" for so long they don't recognize the actual definition either. What compromise means is that the two sides meet, a proposal or two is made and they meet somewhere in the middle.

The liberal idea of compromise is to take an extremely insane position that no one in their right mind would agree to. They then wait for the IDIOTS in the Republican party to "offer" a compromise and then after a little bit of dickering back and forth graciously *snort* agree to the compromise. Meanwhile the Repubs say they kept the Liberals to only taking an inch when in fact they just GAVE the liberals a mile and a half!

The Republitwits have "compromised" so much in the last couple of decades, they don't even recognize their core values anymore or know how to live by them, let alone uphold them.
