Where are the spending cuts, 0Bama?
The out of control spending must be stopped.
The Dim controlled Senate has not passed a budget in 3 years.
The Dim controlled Senate has rejected every spending cut recommended by the GOP house; and every budget passed by the House.
0Bama promised to go through the budget line by line and cut every expense.
0Bama promised $2.50 of spending cuts for every $1 tax increase. Last week they proposed $1.6 trillion in tax increases, with little REAL spending cuts. They should have proposed at LEAST $4 trillion in REAL spending cuts.
It is mathematically impossible to balance the budget by increasing taxes on 2% of the population
Call Diane Feinstien, Boxer, Pelosi, et al TODAY and demand that they cut spending.

For some reason, the liberal media is not covering the biggest news story: 0Bamas unconstitional power grab.
The debt ceiling was put in place to limit spending, and to provide our creditors (China, etc) with a limited peace of mind.
Congress controls the debt ceiling, as it is also supposed to control the budget
0Bama, the only President to take the US through a debt downgrade, is now trying to seize control of the debt ceiling!
So not only does 0Bama and the Dims (Senate have not passed a budget in 3 years) want an unlimited checkbook, they want to be able to increase deficit spending!
Stop 0Bama now, do NOT let him get control of the debt ceiling, or we will all be suffering the consequences of a worthless dollar.

President Obama loves taxes and he isn’t going to stop with the top two percent. President Obama, the Democrats and the liberal media have been pushing to end the Bush tax cuts since 2008. They have claimed that they hurt the economy and they only benefited the rich. In the last two months the tune has changed and now we are on the brink of a catastrophic financial crisis and the Republicans are pulling us over the cliff because they are holding the middleclass tax break hostage to keep one for the rich. Do they really think we are stupid enough to forget what they were up the past four plus years?! Well, on the other hand Obama did get reelected. The Republicans will blink and Obama will get his tax hikes on the rich. That won’t be enough and it won’t be long till taxes go up on all of us either directly or indirectly.

There's really only one way to get us out of our financial mess: reduce spending and increase payments. And I don't know where that $2200 comes from; my taxes didn't come close to decreasing that much when this tax "break" came into effect. I make a decent income and I'd be willing to bet my reduction was more along the line of around $600/yr, which I'd be willing to pay to keep my kids from having to pay for our excesses. The so-called "entitlements" that some squawk about were paid for from our payroll deductions (which Obummer wrongly decreased, just speeding up the eventual default on those accounts)and I feel is OUR money, like the money we put in the bank.

Lets see here...fiscal cliff is what obama wants everybody. He wants this to happen, has planned on it happening, its going to happen. After his fiscal cliff success he will go after everybodies 401k's and tax them as it will come down to that once this country goes into a deeper recession and his unemployment numbers go up and his food stamp numbers go through the roof. Oh wait the bale outs of another housing crisis will happen because everybody who bought a house knowing they could write off the intrest will disapear and so will the ocuppents. Thank everybody who voted this idiot into another term, i hope they all end up unemployed and in poverty so they can see the true reality of their vote.

House Speaker John Boehner presented President Obama with a tax and spending cut plan that would use eliminating loopholes for the rich that would have produced the same increase in revenue that increasing the tax rates on the same group would have produced. President Obama rejected this plan because he wants to openly show that he is making the rich pay more. This further plays upon the class warfare and war on the rich that he used to get reelected. The problem is that this increase in revenues will only run the country for eight days. When the dust settles from averting the fiscal cliff Obama and the Democrats will go after more increases in revenue through tax increases that will impact the people at the lower levels.

Just because someone is from a different political party than you voted for does not mean they are trying to bring about the destruction of mankind and the universe as we know it. It just means they have a different idea of how to achive things, right or wrong.

No matter how many cute nicknames are thought up, nothing changes the fact that
if your taxes go up, you can thank McConnell and the rest of the Republicans.
I sure hope my congressman gets to work and agrees to vote on a bill that has been proposed, so that 98% of Americans' taxes won't go up!!

The problem is and allways will be wastefull spending & mismanagement of tax dollars by politicians be they Democrats or Republicans. They know that and don't care becuase they know they can do what they want and get re-elected. Some are so greedy that they try to steal enough in the first four years to last them a lifetime just in case they don't get re-elected. The only fix for the national debt right now is a huge increase in taxes for every Working American. Obama and the rest of them know that and its just a matter of time before that bomb drops..........

We've tried the "trickle down economics" promised by the Republicans for the last ten years so that their wealthy supporters could enjoy their tax breaks. I haven't seen the jobs that were supposed to be created. Perhaps we were sold a bill of goods. Let's go back to the rates we had under Clinton when the economy was doing just fine.

Actually, if you were paying attention you'd know it's about the republicans having a chance to keep taxes down for middle class people! Have y'all been sleeping? Before Bushy cut taxes on the very rich (his buddies, like Papa Bear) the budget was balanced-we had a surplus when people who make 250k or more a year paid more!
What pinheads!
McConnell is a liar and so is McClintock.
If your taxes go up, thank a Republican who doesn't know what's going on. They'll respond with a nickname or quip about Obama, not realizing their own taxes are going up.

"Let's go back to the rates we had under Clinton when the economy was doing just fine."
Where to start, hmmmm... let me see.
1. If you are discussing the spending rate, I am all for that. The federal budget in 1998 was $1.6 trillion. 0Bama is SPENDING almost 3 times more! 0Bamas DEFICIT was $1.3 trillion last year -- 0Bama OVERSPENT by almost the same amount of total spending under Clinton. If that doesnt clearly state that SPENDING IS THE PROBLEM, nothing will.
2. Under Clinton, the Fed spending CUTS were the reason that the NATION was doing fine. Clinton’s Spending Cuts—Not His Tax Hikes—Worked http://tiny.cc/ii99ow
3. "economy was doing just fine" Except for the recession he gave Bush, and rising unemployment at the end. http://tiny.cc/el99ow

The job makers have not been making jobs, yet they keep giving themselves bonuses. The average C.E.O. pay is thousnads of times what workers make. Over the decades, workers pay has gone down as executive pay has gone way up. There is nothing wrong with letting the rates for the wealthy go back to Clinton era rates. The wealthy are getting rich at a much faster rate than the workers who make that money for them. How many of you posting here want your your benefits such as Social Security, Medicaid, and other programs to be cut? How many of you want to wait until 67 to get Medicare? All the "wastefull spending" the GOP talks about affects those who can least afford to lose benefits, such as long term unemployment benefits.Do you want YOUR taxes to go up? Punish the poor? No way. Tax the rich.

@umoveme
I think we are on the same page. When we "Tax the rich and companies" they raise the price of their product to match the increase and that cost "Trickles down" to the lower class consumer, who buys the product and actually pays this "tax on the rich." Then the government takes that money and spends it on some other ridiculous program that should be left to charity to handle. Then Repeat in a few more years. Is that what you mean? Too bad people can't figure this out. It is really simple math.

Does that include talking to your state representative to vote against the upcoming push by Democratic lawmakers to increase the vehicle licensing fees in California?
...or does that hope only apply to federal taxes?
