Yes now that it has all been explained to me I don't mind at all paying outrageous prices for fuel :-)
Gee- no room for profit?
Exxon alone made $35Billion last quarter paying their CEO $27Million.
With crude prices at $86 a barrel or $1.90 per gallon of gas produced, gas at the pump should be under $3 a gallon. The US consumes 400 million gallons of gas every day! Do the math. Lots of profit potential.
The US is the largest producer of oil in the WORLD right now. The resource is ours. Big Oil should pay their fair share for royalties and tax breaks for companies making such profits are obscene. Any shareholder of oil stocks knows the profit doesn't 'trickle down' to dividends. At least not for them.
The price of gas has not changed much since the 1960's.
The problem is the dollar has been shrinking.
What makes a commodity?....
Did the writer start with the wealth of nations?
I find it doubtful that she has.,..or has studied the statistics of nobel prizes..and what they won them for...
Good job..just not good enough for me..but good enough for MOST.
Interesting and Informative!
Is that BP spill still leaking? Does that CEO still have a job?
