0Bama promised $2.50 of spending cuts for every $1 tax increase. Last week they proposed $1.6 trillion in taxs, with little REAL spending cuts.

They should have proposed at LEAST $4 trillion in REAL spending cuts.

It is mathematically impossible to balance the budget by increasing taxes on 2% of the population.

Calling/ tweeting/ e-mailing as well as writing a letter to my congressman is as useful as a bag of rocks! I'd get more from my congressman if I covered myself in butter and jumped in a lake! Here's the problem, my congressman doesn't care what I think, and doesn't ever have to. When his term is over, he walks a rich man, no matter what I, or you for that matter think. Until our congressmen, senators, and even the president are held responsible for the things they do or the votes they make... they will never have any interest in their constituents opinions. It's all about what the donors want... that's been made perfectly clear to all of us.
