More crashes, huh? I wonder if it has anything to do with the population getting dumber and lazier...

It would be nice to see some transportation at night, other than a couple of cabs that charge an arm and a leg.

People go out and indulge, especially over the holidays. Not just out to bars, where the CHP is good at hanging out, but to friends' and families' places etc. It's not just young people who are home, visiting, it's people who have just one or two here or there and don't think about it.

Either way, here's to season of less DUI's, but more importantly- less accidents. Safe, fun, happy holidays!

I'm sure it's a direct correlation, VTC. Well done

Mobile electronics used while driving may cause an accident.

@wthp
A $7 taxi ride is far less expensive than a DUI and barely more than one drink at the bar.

Is that how cheap it is? I actually am not one to go out to bars. I heard that there is a $20 base rate, but what you say sure would be better. If that is accurate VTC, then I stand corrected. I hope more people use it if it's that cheap. Thanks

VTC, did a fact check. $20 base. Waaayyyyyyy more than $7.
