Just so's I have this straight...
They raised taxes instead of balancing the budget, so now the people who still have a job are paying more and getting less, and are now even more likely to be laid off due to fact that job creators are getting their pockets picked even harder.
Hooray for taxes!

If this is true, the State can refund all of the Cal-Fire tax monies ("Fees") collected, and return to the policy of funding public safety as a top priority!

This sounds a little oxi-morron to me. How can you have both a surplus and a deficit at the same time. With liberals at the helm it means they get to spend more of the tax payer money instead of being responcible "with californians hard earned dolars" and pay down even more of the deficit that "might" excist. Wake up and see through this cloud of b.s. I trust no one that says this review is non biased. You know that they are when they don't have to point that out.

If I remember correctly we the people voted to cut welfare 25% about 16 years ago and then some moron judge decided we the majority didn't have the right to do that. I believe he said it was discriminatory or some such nonsense. Am I correct or just out there in la la land again ????

Seriously, we voted a temporary tax increase to eventually balance our budget and close the deficit. So, yes, a possible future surplus a few years out but that does not mean we should return to overspending.

Wake up!! "Job creators" is a term used by the ill-informed. And "success" is not measured by one's bank account. Unless you believe that an enlisted soldier is not "successful", or maybe a teacher? or your preacher? Come on over from the dark side- or just keep on shopping at Wal-Mart.
