And how much are they paying Cope to figure out, business move out of downtown and other move in. It's been a revolving door downtown for years. If the shop owner can't sell the business sooner, it gone when the lease expires. Sad fact but true.

This would be awesome!

I agree. A tech incubater would be a great addition to our area. As long as the usual suspects (and they know who they are)leave it alone and let it be a true incubater and not a way to milk more money.

GREAT IDEA! You know how many locals go to Columbia College for Computer Science, Programming, Multimedia, GIS, and the like? Then what? They have to move out of county to work anywhere or commute. Let's build jobs here and bring technology companies into the community by hanging out a some bait: a fairly new campus that is wasting away. A lot of logistics to work out to get this done; but not a bad idea...

Love the idea. As for Downtown I would love to see Sierra Repertory or some kind of live entertainment move into the old bowling alley. I think that would really help the downtown area.

Sounds good except for the part about "grant funding"....what ever happened to private investors? taxed out of existance?? afraid??
