I'm glad it was approved. Not because I approve of solar energy, I don't, but it's private property. If they want to waste their money on a project that costs more than it's worth then it's their prerogative.

What on earth is there to "approve" of or not "approve" of regarding solar energy? Its not a moral issue, its an additional energy source.

Where are you getting your data that solar cost more than it is worth? I do not know why everyone does not have it. I paid $21,000 for mine and the off set of my PGE bill will have it paid off in 7 years, with a 25 year warranty i will have 18 years of free power. Seems like a deal to me.
