What were her injuries? If she went to get medical care, that would negate any hit and run or allegations of "fleeing the scene"

You're missing the point ravillata, it's all about money. The more they charge her with, the more likely it is something will stick and the more money in fines they can get out of her. Justice and public safety are the excuses, money is the goal. Law enforcement is big business.
