And he's probably out today. I can't believe how up here in TC, they are released so quickly - like the next day. Those 2 that stole a cart of groceries from Safeway were out the very next day - and it wasn't the first time they were arrested. This sure is the best place to be a criminal - no jail time needed.

ravillata, this was when the Police Chief Lt. Mark Stinson had the time to release the information. We will continue be in contact with him for further information about things that happen under his jurisdiction.

didn;t i read he was found to be high on a controlled substance? a scabby face usually indicates meth or heroin, but usually meth (from what i've seen in life) and 2) that weed looks like some pretty decent bud to me...so why would someone pretend like it isn't or that the cops are somehow so lame they don;t know the difference?
it is the court and jail systems that are letting all the the repeat criminals out.
i'm surprised the cops even do their jobs anymore when they have to watch what happenes to the criminals once they hit the courts.

Ever seen a dog chase it's tail? Similar to law inforcement arrests in Tuolumne County when the suspects are realesed too soon. Look forward to when people get fed up and demand tent cities similar to Maricopa County, Arizona. At the very least Tuolumne County can set up an adult criminal day care at the Tuolunme General Medical Facility.

Even though a person is caught with the smoking gun, The law presumes that persons charged with crime are innocent until they are proven by competent evidence to be guilty. Also see the 5th, 8th, and 14th amendments to the constitution. It's not up to law enforcement whether a person arrested stays in jail that's decision is up to a judge. There is what they call a bail schedule for most felony arrests and probably all misdemeanor arrests. shiner If you possess more drugs than what an "average" person would personally consume, the police/prosecution will assume that you possess the narcotics for sale.

i feel safer already!!! else where in TC , marijuana is being harvested in record amounts all around the area. every neighborhood i go in reeks of it and i know people that are growing it. its been a great year weather wise.

come on "gruvygal" that cant keep them for ever when they have only been charged. im sure they will get jail time. everybody has the the right to bail. in other counties this guy would have been given a ticket, or if he had a doctors note for the marijuana he would have been able to keep his pot. in Oakland a patient can have 3 pounds of marijuana on him legally!!! any medical marijuana patient can have a 1/2 pound for themself. and TC is alot stricter on almost everything than other counties.
