Let's see Jerry Brown lead by example: all of the cutbacks should start with HIS benefits package, and then fall onto the CURRENT set of politicians in office there with him. While the dems and repubs are both patting themselves on the back, they are lining their pockets on the way out the door.

How about addressing fraud with real serious penalties. Half the people I have met on disability ride motorcycles, build additions on their homes, skydive, go mountain climbing and seem to have zero disabilities except for working. I know one state employee who admitted she injured herself jogging and claimed it was work related. She hasn't worked for 8 years and has collected piles of tax money.

If you see one of these creeps playing hard, take a picture and turn them in.

Now, if we can only address the gross over compensation of state legislators. It's time the legislators' pay reflects that of their constituents.
