It sure would be nice if we could take a lesson from those days at Colton Hall and base our State Gov't expenditures/laws on reality, rather than fantasy.

An excellent point from imho. California became a free state, but with much harsher rules and enforcement of the fugitive slave laws, basically extending to all parts of the US. Always a trade-off.

Isn't admission day, The day we gave Ca. back to Mexico, might as well after Brown gives the illegals driving licenses. O i forgot the Dems need all the votes they can get.
