Sounds like heads are going to roll...
But you can't bring back the dead...so there should be HEAVY penalties.

A couple of good mousers from the local animal shelter would take care of this in a New York minute. Unfortunately, there might be a little collateral damage to the chipmunk and squirrel population, too.

Farmcats. Also...the protected beetles (insert: Roaches)and spotted owls might get munched on.
Can't have that!

How about releasing some Native California King Snakes? and a couple Pacific Gopher Snakes? they are harmless to humans, very quiet and do not take up much room in the tent.

A government agency is yet again guilty of negligent manslaughter. Who'da thunk it?

We were there last weekend, stayed in the tent cabins at Camp Curry and came away thinking there are too many people in a small place. The cabins are about 2 feet apart and the NPS drives their trucks up and down the camp kicking up dust and dirt. The cabins are filthy on the out side covered with a layer of dirt, but clean on the inside. It's a wonder more people are not sick. Didn't see any mice but lots of squirrels.
