New Priest Grade Accident

Another motorhome/trailer on the "Grade"! This is happening more often since the motorists' GPS sends them that way & they DON'T read the weight limit sign at the bottom. Maybe they don't realize that just by going straight, it wiould be an easier drive for ALL. We have been behind several of these vehicles and I don't know how they make it to the top. Where is the CHP?

peg the article says this was on New Priest Grade. I believe you're thinking of Old Priest grade.

The CHP had cutbacks, to help finance the 54$M surplus for parks and rec.

The motorhome was where it's supposed to be, on the "new Grade".

"new grade" Peg. The "old grade" has the weight limit.

I know that problem with oversized/overweight vehicles blindly listening to their GPS without reading signs or using a little common sense, but do you know that that's what happened here? The articles says it happened on New Priest.

@peg...it says NEW Priest grade.....didn't know that motor homes could not drive up the new grade peg.....hmmmm. All drivers should always be careful driving either grade, it's scary!
