Body Found At Pine Mountain Lake

i have family in the groveland area and they said that this past weekend there were reports of a couple being dumped off an area road near pine mountain lake wrapped up on a rug. it was a man and woman and there are reports the FBI was in town asking questions. I read that there was a majuana grove found but no news on any bodies.. now there is a body found at the lake.. whats going on? wheres the news coverage? people want to know whats happening and if they are safe..

Is it Michael Larry Croslin? Is there any additional information about Michael other than the missing persons report filed on 7/30?

Tuolumne Sheriff Sgt. Jeff Wilson was asked about other bodies, he said he had heard the rumors and that there was nothing to report- no other incidents. If your family in Groveland wants to report something suspicious the Sheriff's Office would be the one to contact.

By the way, the FBI would have nothing to do with something of that nature.. its not a federal crime.. they handle FEDERAL investigations. Sabrina is right.. you have a question? Call the S.O....

sabrina, someone from the sheriffs office is the one who told us about it. maybe the paper should actually drive up there and check things out. isn't that what reporters do.. aren't they supposed to investigate??

The investigators on scene are not authorized to release information to the public or media. This story is the only information that has been provided so far.
