And back to Meheko they go...just to come right back. Or we end up paying to keep these yahoo's in prison....on our dime.
I'd like to know what vehicle or vehicles they had...where they GOT them....
Were they valid licenses? etc. I would trace them.
I'm going out on a limb here,I'd say there probably not legal citizens,it's just a wild guess ..
What else is new!!!!
Great job TNT keep it up.
If it was legal and regulated, these characters wouldn't be in our forest. We closed down all the local shops(people paying taxes) while our forests fund cartel activity. Whats the logic?
Where were the 'transiting' to?
Why not be honest in your reporting? The ILLEGAL ALIENS were tending an ILLEGAL product and were arrested.
It is likely that the ILLEGAL ALIENS will be deported, and just as likely that the ILLEGAL ALIENS will return to once again commit a crime.
1 in 6 ILLEGAL ALIENS return to the U.S. to live off of food stamps, free health care, vote Dim, and to commit more crimes.
Great job TNT! Keep guys like this out of our community. Just looking at them, it seems that they would just as soon stab you in the back as say hi. Just what I would like to stumble upon out in the forest.
R these men US citizens?
Another example for using it for personal use?
Something really must have went astray.....they actually apprehended somebody!!!!Nothing will be done to them but hey, they got a couple!
I still dont see the reasoning that making it legal will stop the cartels?Really? So you are saying that multi Billion $ business they run would be taken over and cured by card holders? Please explain that one to me?Are you saying only Californians(the only state that it would likely be legal)support that cash cow?
Exactly the reason California voted to have grow/sales legal, in store front businesses, paying payroll, sales tax and monitored by the regulations set forth in each community. Unfortunately we had no local regulations set up before granting permits to open in TC and now we have and will continue to have massive violently protected cannabis grow/sales by the most unwanted characters. If you are a hiker, hunter or just take your dogs for runs in the back county watch out because TNT won’t be there to protect us if we walk upon this money making illegal activity!
These are the people we DONT want in our forests. GREAT job to TNT on this one. This is an evil we can do without in our community. And in case you have forgotten, Cartels ARE the creation of prohibition.
Like the Article said, Tuolumne County is the people choice.
I used to hike up there as a kid. I think it's rotten that kids nowadays could be killed because they were just exploring..and ran into scum like this.
Legalization of pot can't come fast enough; yet I know once it does happen, the bureaucracy created to handle its legalities will find ways to squander those taxes also.
And to those who want us going back to "Meheko" for being a pox on your society- ever wonder what ethnicity & socioeconomic class of people these men answer to? People who run & sell it are used by those who fund its distribution, who more than anyone, don't want it legalized as it takes all the fun in profit away.
I'm not condoning criminals & in no way feel sorry for them- but there aren't enough beans to fill the burritos of denial that only "Mehekens" do this or that sending us all back will Shangrila your streets.
Let's review the face of the guy who stole the Cady & stuffed its key into a body cavity. Aye caramba!
They don't look like hippys
Boy Mountainman you are really wrong as usual. Card carriers grow their or go to dispeneries. They want no part of illegal grows. It's 17 states that have medical marijuana. California will not legalize it first. Won't happen. Too many conservatives. Maybe Co or Wa.
I agree with mntmac and THDaddio. Because no one who is a citizen would ever do something like this.
I really don't believe the theory that the Mexican Cartells are sending them up here to grow pot. There are plenty of places in Mexico to grow pot much cheaper and with less hassles from the police. Hell the cartells own the police in Mexico. I think what you are seeing is a few illegals that know how to grow the stuff coming up here to get away from the cartells and make a few bucks. BTW all illegal marijuana growers aren't bloodthirsty scum. You are more likely to be killed by a white grower protecting his crop. Nope I don't smoke it grow it or anything to do with it but I think society is trying to keep us afaid of anything that has to do with the "Evil Weed Marijuana" I say its allready here, legalize it and make a few more bucks for politicins to waste LOL
jlav ,pardon me...."wrong again"...really?You seem to have avoided my question? So you are telling me that the billion dollar business these cartels are running would be immediately wiped out if legalized in 17 states?Huh?Really? How?How many other states are there?Where will they get their weed?I highly doubt it will be legal to transport from a legal state to an illegal state!
mairalargo, they were in possession of more meth than weed....last time I checked the cartels are not run by whites, and seems every time a white has Meth, they have weed as well!!!I am going to pull what everybody else has here lately,"I dont like Pot,I dont want it so BAN IT"!!!
What a waste of time and taxpayer money! These guys would still be in Mexico if our local growers could produce this crop legally. To top off the stupidity, many people wonder why the economy is suffering. Grow, tax, sell. Simple. It's a harmless weed.
Get your head out of the sand and educate yourself on this subject. You will be shocked!!!! Tie in with Law Enforcement and ask them about the Mexican Cartells and their grows. Go to the USFS and Cal Fire and ask their Law Enforcement Officers. Go down to Sierra Prison and to meet with the Warden or Captains on this subject. Its out there and only getting worse!!!
Cali,a conservative state!!!! Wow!! You have to be kidding me! Every liberal hair brained idea starts right here, and that is fact!!
