G-d bless Symonds and the faith he had in the community to set up a foundation.

I do wonder how much the symonds family and associates have to do with the symonds foundation.
Sometimes I think that the money is spent unwisely, but in action, is depth.
It is better to do, @something@ than to sit on the sidelines and watch the battle go to defeat.

So...Area 12...who is the current decision makers in the foundation? and, also, what is the current holdings in the symonds foundation?
As a member of the public, I would like to know.

It is not enough to do GOOD, but to do it well.

Area 12 Agency on Aging is a different organization (focused on seniors) than Sonora Area Foundation. From the Press Release "The Foundation, along with two supporting organizations, The Irving J. Symons Foundation and the Symons Family Fund, now have assets of more than $27 million. The governing boards regularly award grants that fulfill needs in Tuolumne County. Those grants totaled more than $1.23 million in 2011, and exceed $16 million since inception. The Sonora Area Foundation administers more than 170 charitable funds set up for scholarships and other charitable causes."
