STATE FAIR....

When did it become the state that was our fair?
@The Tuolumne County Visitors Bureau is looking for help with their State Fair booth.@


I thought this fair was local, attracting people all over?
Next thing you know the Mother Lode Roundup will be called the STATE ROUNDUP.
I'm probably wrong though...

The Mother Lode Fair is a county fair, this booth is at the California State Fair in Sacramento...

Mind you, in leaperman's defense, the article doesn't actually say "in Sacramento" anywhere, so just a cursory reading could lead to confusion with this weekend's fair, for example.

I'd volenteer if they would let me but i beleive i am still considered a dreaded 'flatlander' and not allowed to represent.

I made that statement a year ago, I love the history of this area, but my status of flatlander apparently still stands after 25 years.
