You have heard of a Three Ring Circus. Well we have a Ten Ring Circus in Sacramento with a bunch of clowns that cant do the job they were elected to do.

California scare tactics. Vote for higher taxes or we cut your kids education and public safety. Ignore the fact that there is other pork in the budget that we refuse to cut, because you won't pay for travel expenses and high end lodging for political retreats; prisoner massages, elective surgeries and entertainment; the cost of education, health care, and housing for illegal immigrants; special treatment for unions who drive up the cost of state funded projects by forcing prevailing wage payments by small businesses that they otherwise couldn't compete with; etc, etc....

They mouth platitudes, but for our state capital, it's business as usual.
The business? Robbing us blind.

I'm amazed a democrat governor wants to hurt those already hurting to protect the golden nests of well-paid employees. Increased sales taxes, reduced aid for the poor and infirm, reduced education assistance, reduced health care assistance, etc. just hurt the poor disproportionately and let the rich continue their snobbish existence.

That's how the state govt is run.
If you don't for the pork they have riders that activate to PUNISH people.
Sickening.

It seems with the clowns in Sacramento that it's always "we have to do this, or we'll be forced to cut education etc.".. Let's stop using our children as leverage for more pork. There are plenty of other cuts to be made, that don't involve our most innocent citizens. One simple solution is to have the legislature meet every OTHER year. Do we really need to have these do nothings sitting around EVERY year, cutting education in the name of whatever their favorite pork barrel project is? Most definitely not! Imagine, not having to shell out millions to pay people who don't need the money anyway, AND we avoid them legislating more "rules" for the rest of us to live by? simple and cheap. If Sacramento cost too much, then let's cut the TRUE FAT out!
