Lots of cities have chicken ordinances allowing hens so you can have fresh eggs but do not allow the roosters because of the noise. I have no problem with hens.
Now if only Sonora would do something about the barking dogs. See what Calaveras County and many others across the nation have done to stop barking dogs.

Chickens, you have to be kidding me. What about about other prioties like the police department, public works and fire department. Thank you for balancing the budget. I'm sure they could have not done it with out you.

If my neighbor can have sheep, we should be able to have chickens.

Typical politics we have the Chickens vs. Hawkins.
I think the Chickens are going to win since everybody loves to break a few eggs for breakfast. It is a win win for the city, recycle food waste, better eggs,support local feed stores, teach your kids where eggs come from, plus you can make chicken soup. The chickens are good for Sonora, as old as Sonora is you would think chickens are mandatory in the city.
My favorite is the Rhode Island Red with big orange double yolks.

Yes, the chickens. We must keep a lid on this problem, and a frying pan underneith this situation. Once we were promised a chicken in every pot, now all everyone wants is the pot.

So, to state the obvious if Matt allows or votes For the Chickens does that make him a ChickenHawk?
I know we are supposed to be polite Sabrina,but cmon it's too funny to censor.
I vote Hawkins for Mayor if he can keep the roosters out of town.

Watch out for that baby chickenhawk Henery. Foghorn Leghorn has a hard time keeping him in line...and that Barnyard Dawg keeps barking!
