I don't think your polls are accurate as they once were. I'm suspecting someone is doing a work around your tracking cookies. just my opinion.

End welfare for illegals and the problem will take care of itself.

What a mess

I would hope that this is another case of individuals voting without fully understanding the question. If we as a nation don’t take care of TODAY’s problems there will be no tomorrow for the intelligent young to make a difference, regardless of where they may have been born. This speaks of those born here, those here legally or those here illegally. We need to shore up our nation’s fiscal health rather than our continual give away spiral down to total destruction. Those who don’t recognize that financial collapse is in our near future have their heads in the sand.

By not deporting these immigrants I feel is a slap in the face to everyone who came in the proper way. I am first generation american. My father arrived in 1918 and my mother arrived in 1940. Did they do it wrong? Why are these immigrants being rewarded for breaking the law? Please don't say they want a better life. We have prisons full of people who wanted a better life and resorted to robbery and other crimes. if you are not legal you are not legal. A crime is a crime.

Go home. And to the back of the line. Two wrongs don't make it right. Oh and take your parents with you.

These immigrants will not be deported providing they "...have no criminal history, graduated from a U.S. high school or earned a GED, or served in the military."

Wouldn't it be grand if we could offer a home to responsible, ambitious individuals like above and deport our home grown variety who regularly appear in the Sheriffs' logs or the healthy and capable who expect social services to take care of them when they do not work at bettering themselves?

Good Lord! What did we do when we rented President Obama for four years? I even violated my own law when instead of electing the guy for the issues involved, I voted for the personality over Arizona Senator John McCain. Now we have a pharaoh in power, which has torn up the most precious of document called the Constitution, in his pursuit of absolute power. In his term he has hired a bunch of Marxist and ultra left Socialists that have done almost irreparable damage to our economy. His henchman like the despicable U.S. Attorney General has been on a ‘Witch Hunt’ escalating his intimidation on initially Arizona, with his warlord rumbling against Alabama and Georgia. Because these states dared to introduce legislation, to remove illegal aliens that are not only stealing

If they have served in the US Armed Forces of course they should be allowed to stay but as for the rest of them, Nope ya gotta go and come back in legally. Makes me very upset that Obama is making this blatant attmpt to get votes. Shows a lot about his charachter doesn't it ????

Desperation for more votes

Most of the "illegals" you are so anxious to deport went to school with your children, worked next to you, took care of you at the bank, performed the service to your computer, etc. etc. They pay taxes and have lives just like yours, except that thier parents left their home country in a different era, after lady liberty stopped welcoming the tired and hungry.

Stop picturing children of day laborers, and start picturing the real people.

Yodad...i am thinking the same thing...I have lived here 30 years and those polls don't reflect the opinions of Tu County.....some of those dreaded flatlanders are stacking the deck. Liberals think just becasue they say something in print, that it is true and too many people that are too lazy to read a variety of news sources, believe it.

Yeah! Something must be wrong with the system, when the results don't reflect how YOU voted. (just the majority)

I think serving in the military should be a prerequisite to become legal in this country anyway. As far as the rest? Our President is handing out 800,000 jobs to illegals while doing nothing for those that belong here and are legal citizens

Serve in the military are you kidding for a foreign national to enlist in any branch of the US Military they need a green card, We do not enlist undocumented workers so that part is just plan stupid, @ Whoknew your right vote grab.

I’ve suspected poll tampering for some time now. While observing a poll where a conservative point of view was in the lead by a 100 plus votes, then in a course of a couple of hours the liberal view is now ahead by 50 plus.. I’ve reported it to the admin, but I guess it falls on deft ears..

It is truly amazing that when a poll is taken that supports a conservative position no one questions its validity. However, if a poll result happens to be in favor of a more liberal position to some posters it has to be rigged by some unknown conspirators.

@WorkingMom when did lady Liberty stop welcoming anybody? She just wanted them to do it legally. Also the services I am using Bank, computer, etc, etc, are all legal citizens working and living here. Another fact is a majority dont pay taxes and a portion of their income is sent back to Mexico. Dont have a problem with anybody working and living here legally or on a work visa. What I do have a problem with is all the entitlments our tax dollars are going to for people that should not even be here. Also when the Federal Government wont even enforce their own laws in the name of votes. SCANDALOUS!!!

I feel the wording of the poll made it somewhat confusing... it would have been much clearer if it read."Do you support the U.S. deporting young illegal
immigrants?"
Because we only want to deport "Illegal immigrants." You have to read this article to know that they were referring only to "illegal immigrants" and not all immigrants.
And also the vote yes if you mean no wording always skews polls to a degree.

These polls are about as accurate as their bar graphs.If you want to see what I mean look up past polls. The majority have a lager bar for the lesser vote.

Workingmom, whether illegal immigrants are bank tellers (doubtful as you need a fairly good background check to handle money like that), Service my computer - nope, serve in the military - that is a slap in the face of my son who is serving in the military today, it's irrelevant. The fact is that they came here illegally. End of story. I travel the world for my job and I can tell you first hand that the U.S. is the one easiest of the major countries for foriegners to get into. I am in Kenya right now. If I overstay my Visa by one day, I am in deep trouble and will likely do some time in jail, then be escorted to the airport and told never to come back. And they mean it. Care to guess what happens if you are caught in Mexico on an expired Visa? It's not pretty.

It is agreed that the question could have been more clear and will be in the future.
