It will be nice with the new addition..the bypass saves a lot of time and money..I remember when everyone had to go through town...That would be a mess now.

It still is a mess through town, and all the way up and down the bypass.

Exactly what money is being saved? This 2nd phase alone is going to cost $14+ million.

About it being faster, it's not. I drive it every day. The only way the current bypass is faster is if you hit every single red light on Mono.

It would have been far cheaper, efficient and logical to widen the existing highway and add turn lanes and passing lanes.
