A LOT of hard work went into this event, and it showed. The goal was to 'extend' summer in Twain Harte one more weekend: Mission Accomplished! There was a lot of great energy in our quaint town this weekend, despite the iffy weather. Restaurants and shops appeared to be far busier than usual for this time of year. I appreciated the films I saw, I enjoyed interacting with the actors, actresses and their families, and very much respect the sponsors and committees for making it all happen. Gotta love Twain Harte!

Twain Harte will once again thrive and draw tourist with more events like this. In a time where tourist destinations have loads of competition from all over the globe smaller towns like Twain Harte will continually need to think outside of the norm and "create" to attract people.

Hats off to the organizers, staff, volunteers and establishments who put in long hours.

The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step, this is a step in the right direction.
