Electrical Fire Destroys Cold Springs Structure

San Andreas, CA -- A structure located at 29946 Mariposa Drive in Cold Springs was destroyed by fire this morning.

According to CAL Fire´s Emergency Command Center the time of call was 9:32. Cause of the fire; an electrical malfunction. Damage estimate was set at $300,000.

CAL Fire units responding included Columbia Battalion Chief 4408, Twain Harte engine 552 and Standard Prevention 4421. Local units included Pinecrest engine 552, Long Barn water tender 549, Mono Vista/Soulsbyville water tender 569, Tuolumne County Fire Department Prevention 701 and supply 907 and Columbia College Breathing Support 795.

The fire was contained at 1:04pm.
