San Francisco, CA -- The Angel Island fire in San Francisco Bay reached 100 percent containment Tuesday.

400 of the island´s 740 acres were scorched by the fire whose Sunday evening ignition remains a mystery. Officials says it may have been a errant campfire.

Restoring power for the island´s 20 fulltime residents remains the top priority. Overall, no deaths, no injuries to humans or to the island´s wildlife and there was no damage to the many historic buildings.

Angel Island hosts 200,000 visitors a year but for the time being, the island is "closed for repairs."
