Stockton Resident Killed In Amador County Accident
Jackson, CA -- According to the Amador County CHP office in Jackson a 75 year old unidentified Stockton resident was killed Sunday evening at approximately 6:30 when his GMC truck, eastbound on Hwy 88 in Amador County at a high rate of speed, crossed over the center line and collided with a tour bus headed from a Jackson area casino to San Francisco.
The bus ended up on its side while three cars ended up in ditches. A number of those individuals were injured.
Hwy 88 was closed for several hours.
At this hour the name of the deceased has not been released by authorities.
