Congressman's Third Cousin Killed In Christmas Day Accident

Mariposa, CA -- While there was not a single fatality in either Tuolumne or Calaveras County over the Christmas Maximum Enforcement Period, there was one vehicular death in Mariposa County.

According to the C.H.P. report 21 year old Christopher James Radanovich was killed at approximately 7:30 Christmas morning while traveling eastbound on Darrah Rd. west of Montana Del Oro.

For unknown reasons Radanovich´s 2003 Toyota Tacoma crossed the westbound lane in rainy weather running off the north side of the roadway and down an embankment before colliding with a tree.

Radanovich was wearing a seatbelt and both airbags deployed but he was pronounced dead at the scene by the investigating officer.

Radanovich is the third cousin of 19th District Congressman George Radanovich.
