Two Arrests Following Pinecrest Lake Assault
Pinecrest, Ca -- A Roseville family had a rude awakening Thursday morning while camping at Pinecrest Lake.
The Sheriff´s Office reports that a man was physically assaulted in front of his family by a group of individuals, and the victim sustained moderate to serious injuries to his face and head.
Deputies responded shortly after the incident and located two of the suspects, 23-year-old Aaron Sheridan of Sonora and 18-year-old Cody Mata of Sonora.
The two were taken to Tuolumne County Jail, and face charges of assault and battery with serious bodily injury. Additional arrests are anticipated.
