Fireworks Reminders
Sonora & San Andreas, CA -- Mother Lode "safe and sane" fireworks will only be allowed in Calaveras County outside of the Ebbetts Pass Fire District (Arnold area) and the Central Fire District (Mountain Ranch, Glencoe and Railroad Flat areas) this Fourth of July weekend.
Absolutely NO fireworks are permitted in Tuolumne County or any portion of the Stanislaus National Forest.
S.N.F. Public Affairs Officer Pat Kaunert states that officers will be on patrol to cite any violators of this policy.
Kaunert adds that campfires and BBQ´s are only permitted in approved campground areas. Local Ranger stations will have that information.
