Modesto Man Fatally Injured In Jamestown Rd. Accident
Jamestown, Ca -- The CHP says a 33-year-old Modesto man has been fatally injured in a single vehicle accident on Jamestown Rd. near Golf Links Rd. this morning.
The man´s name has not been released as officials are still notifying next of kin. Sgt. Jim Jacobs says the investigation is still ongoing, but it appears the crash was likely to due excessive speed.
Jamestown Rd. remains closed as of 3pm this afternoon. The truck struck a power pole, and PG&E is on scene making repairs. 3,200 customers will have periodic power outages this afternoon.
